A month ago I set up Ray Scalper, how it’s going? It had a great start and for now it’s profitable.
To be honest, some trades are questionable: it likes to open trades just before the closing time on Friday. Sometimes this leads to a loss, sometimes it doesn’t. I guess the programmers have seen in backtast that in long run it is profitable?
I am using default settings, with automatic money management.
I have a 15% discount coupon code on my Facebook fan page
valid until the end of March, then it will become a 10% one.
What I think about it? I like it!
The antipiracy activation it’s a bit “primitive”, you have to send an email to support asking to bind it to your account number, there isn’t an activation program or a web panel like on other EA, but in the end what really matters is that it works. Other ways to protect software from piracy maybe are more sophisticated, but will use more memory
and more CPU time, what I really care about it’s making money, haha.
However, how does it work? I installed it yesterday and it started greatly!
Despite the name, I don’t understand what’s the “scalper” in it, it kept the first trade open for the whole night, and the other made 40 pips – usually scalping is making a few pips in a short time, right?
I won’t comment further, it’s too early and usually I bring bad luck, so…
A month ago, on an Italian forum an user was selling a Ray Scalper
license for half the price. I read good words on it, and I wanted to buy it, then I went in holiday and when I came back it was already sold. What a pity.
A friend of mine instead bought it for the New Year holidays and today he shown me what result he had.
Whoa! I can’t believe it’s THAT powerful! (I suppose he is using default setting, but I am not 100% sure)
He was lucky, the official account lost a lot of money during holidays:
At this point I regret that I didn’t buy it at half the price!
It has a 100 pip stop loss, but it makes 20 pips a day, so it can recover fast.
I am thinking about buying it, it costs $350
(+ VAT if you are in Europe, unfortunately…) With a $1000 account I think it can recoup the initial costs in 2-3 months, if everything goes fine
